The Corning Fiber Optic Closure System LL provides a protective yet accessible environment for housing single or mass fusion fiber splices. This family of closures are designed to accomodate up to 12 stacked or hinged splice trays for easy access. Because?of the system's modular design, the closure can be expanded in length or diameter or converted from butt to inline configurations without disturbing existing cables.
A full range of closure sizes, diameters from 76 - 241 mm (3- 9-1/2") in combination with lengths up to 914 mm (36"), gives systems designers multiple options when considering splice location options. And while smaller size closure would normally be considered optimal, larger LightLinker closures can be used in many cases to provide extra storage space for ribbon or buffer tubed fiber. LightLinker closures may be used with all types of fiber optic cable and for cut, uncut and taut sheath applications.
