Sometimes you just need a split wye. These hand made fittings are no work of art, but pure utility enabling you to run your new lateral connection with less time and effort. Two sections of 4" SCH 40 Duct are saw cut and bonded together before adding "H-strips" to keep the halves together. The H-strips are designed to hold the two halves in place, but tie wraps or pipe clamps may be desired to keep them more secure.
