The Condux Gulfstream 400 Lightweight Deluxe Fiber Optic Cable Blower installs up to 300 feet of fiber optic cable per minute with average distances achieved of 6,500 feet. The cable travels at the same speed as the air, and air pressure and flow requirements depend on the size of the duct and cable being installed in that duct. Blowing cable minimizes the stress placed on the cable during the installation process. Because the cable blower provides both pulling and pushing force, the stress is balanced.
The Condux Fiber Optic Cable Blower is designed for the installation of fiber optic cables with diameters from 0.23" to 1.13" into innerduct from 0.98" OD to 2.35" OD. Correct seals, feed tube, and venturi must be determined for the cable being installed.
