Preferential bending is mitigated by using a central strength member, which allows for ease of working with the cable and making slack loops. Fiber bundles are clearly identified within color-coded buffer tubes that make routing to splice trays and slack storage a breeze. Ribbon in Loose Tube designs are available as dielectric or lite armor designs. These cables are also available as dry or gel waterblocking.
