The GS400XL is specifically designed for installation of ultra-high density OSP fiber cable into HDPE duct.
Some manufacturers have introduced cables with fiber counts as high as 6,912 to meet the rapidly expanding network capacity needs of hyperscale data center operators. These high densities are achieved while keeping the outside diameter of the cables very compact - less than 40mm (1.58Â) OD.

Air Block “ Physically Larger to Accommodate Duct and Cable Packs for Larger Fiber Diameters
Cable Seals “ Physically Larger (ID and OD) to Accommodate Larger Fiber Diameter
Longer Shaft Guides “ Upper Housing (One Shaft) and Rear Roller Hold Down Mechanism (Two Shafts)
*Necessary to increase vertical travel to accommodate larger fiber.
Air Inlet “ The hose connection on the GS400XL increases from the standard 0.75 on the current GS400 to 1.50 on the new air block.
DUCT / CABLE RANGE:
Cable: 0.49 (12mm) “ 1.54 (39mm)
Duct: 1.26 (32mm) “ 2.48 (63mm)
*Note: The maximum fiber OD increases with the GS400XL; however, the minimum also increases
